Aluminum alloy is a general term of aluminum-based alloy. Aluminum alloy has low density but high strength which is close to or higher than the quality steel, it has good plasticity and easy processing, and can be processed into various profiles. Due to its excellent electric conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, after adding different alloying elements, it can produce casting aluminum alloy with good casting property or wrought aluminum alloy with good processing plasticity.
所謂異型材就是橫截面是非圓形的擠出塑料制品稱為塑料異型材，除了圓、方、板外的型材，如瓦楞、槽、T形等。塑料異型材就是以塑料為主才(如夾鐵皮)的異型材，廣泛使用于建筑裝修等行業(yè)。
異型材有兩種，一種是全塑料異型材，另一種是指塑料材料和非塑料材料復(fù)合而得的復(fù)合異型材。
按異型材的軟硬程度分，可分為軟質(zhì)異型材和硬質(zhì)異型材。按塑料品種分類可分為:PVC異型材，ABS異型材，PE異型材等，其中大多數(shù)是PVC異型材。
按異型材的截面特征，可分成異型管材、中空異型材、隔塞式異型材、開(kāi)放式異型材、分節(jié)異型材、鑲嵌異型材、實(shí)心異型材7大類。
